Northwest Austin Rotary President Nancy Lehmann-Carssow

Welcome to the website of one of the most active Rotary Clubs in Central Texas! If you want to be active in community and international service projects, this is the place to be.

Each year our club donates $25,000 for high school scholarships and awards for teachers and paraprofessionals in the Round Rock School District. We built a garden for Jollyville Elementary School and have given grants to many nonprofit organizations.

We also sponsor students to study abroad with our Ambassadorial Scholarships and send people overseas to learn how others in their profession do business.  With our sister club in Monterrey, Mexico, we have bought cancer detecting equipment for a hospital and bikes, laptops and supplies for schools.

I could name many more of our projects, but you are probably wondering how we raise all the necessary funds. We sell oranges and grapefruit! Last year we raised $94,000 and that should give you an idea of just how active our members are!

During my 20-year membership in this club, I have learned so much from the wonderful speakers we have each week, have been able to network with all sorts of people, make a difference in my community and internationally, but most important, I have made friends for life.
