NWAR Member David King with his Russian guests Lena and Vladimir & Lena Shakun. Austin Cosmopolitan Club member Tamara Russell tells us about their planned fundraiser. Our newest members - Diane Lyerly and Carla Young - are pinned by their respective sponsors, Damon Holditch and Homer Goering. Our speaker, Jen Ohlson, expounded on the Lady Bird Johnson Lake Hike and Bike Trail, basing her talk on her book about the subject entitled Homer Goering and Damon Holditch receive Rotary ribbons honoring their new member sponsorships.
Henry Mayes receives his Paul Harris Fellow +3 award from Foundation Chair Ken Dickensheets. Guest Speaker Judge Janice Law tells us about one of her cases that went to the Supreme Court as documented in her book, Sex Appealed: Was the Supreme Court Fooled? Fundraising Chair Tom Perkins motivates the crowd with a rousing Dusek's Desperados are but one of nine teams vying for the #1 Sales Award in this year's Fruit Sale. Ralph Trussel presents two banners to the club he obtained visiting clubs in Denmark.
Speaker Kevin Useldinger tells us about using nutrition and exercise to re-shape our bodies. <Fat chance!>
