This year's NWAR-sponsored RYLA Campers (L-R): Andrew Sheng (Westwood), Jinn-A Choi (Anderson), Rachel Duran (Lago Vista), and LeAnthony Key (McNeil) This is Kate Yang, a former RYLA graduate and 2008 RYLA camp counselor who also attended Rotary International RYLA this summer. Nancy Lehmann-Carssow is presented a Paul Harris Fellow Award by Foundation Chair Ken Dickensheets. Our speakers today were Amanda Dewees and Drema Gross from the Water Conservation Division of the Austin Water Utility. Past DG Barry Curlee presents 2007-08 NWAR President Kim Krahn with Presidential Citation Award while current President Hanspeter Tobler looks on.
Guest Speaker Danny Sinclair expounds on the virtues of purple martins as voracious insect eaters.
